Aims & Objectives
The sole and focused objectives of PAK-CDP consists of –
- Improvement of health status through provision of Water Supply, Sanitation facilities along with hygiene education to the disaster victims, needy and poorest of the poor people of Pakistan
- Provision of Shelters, Food/ Non food items and other basic needs to the disaster victims, needy and poorest of the poor people of Pakistan
- Rehabilitation of community infrastructure such as WASH, School, Shelters and Health facilities.
- Improvement of economic status of the disaster victims and poorest of the poor through capacity building in livelihood and through provision of small grants in cash and kind form.
- Capacity building of the target communities through provision of trainings in the sector of WASH, DRR , livelihood, basic education, first aid and vocational trainings.
- Awareness raising and capacity building of the disaster victims on DRR and incorporating DRR in all the project components where possible
